I’ll be honest — I hadn’t paid much mind to this UK-based duo until I noticed they were playing a gig in Budapest last month. I didn’t manage to see the gig, but this CC remix is pleasant. It’s layered and smoothed out while still retaining dance-ability. And there’s a lot more where that came from — including an upcoming release on uber-uber Kitsune.

Franz Ferdinand Are Back
Nearly 4 years after their great You Could Have It So Much Better, Franz Ferdinand return to a music scene that has changed a lot. Naturally, the question is if they can remain exciting, relevant, etc in 2009. They’ve been working on the new album since 2007 and the long work came to an end, album is gonna be released on 26th January on Domino (pre-order here). I’m kinda undecided...
